Late night television has been almost a competitive and turbulent as database market of late. We have the whole Jay Leno vs. Conan O’Brien – The Tonight Show dilemma. Then there is Oprah Winfrey announcing end of her show. And then there is Charlie Sheen talking about quitting Two and a Half Men; now this one will hurt.

But I digress. Scott Hayes of Database-Brothers Inc. has decided to combine his love for databases and passion for good entertainment to start a DB2NightShow.com. The format is more like Tonight Show but there is no band. The jokes are good, in a geeky kinda way, and the guest speakers have a lot less attitude. The subject is always the same, DB2 and how to make the most of it. Works for me.

So, if you the turbulence in the TV world has made you look for alternative entertainment, give DB2NightShow.com a try. There are a couple fo really good episodes coming up.  On Friday June 11, Mike Winer will talk about DB2 locking. On Friday June 18, Burt Vialpando will do a play by play comparison of Oracle and DB2. Burt does a very good job so I highly recommend it. Oh, rumor has it there may be some studio audience prizes. So. go to DB2NightShow.com and register.
